Melissa Stevens, Licensed Physical Therapist & Licensed Athletic Trainer
Melissa received her Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training from Gustavus Adolphus College and her Master’s degree in Exercise Physiology from Northern Illinois University. Melissa received an additional Master’s and Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from Washington University in St. Louis. She specializes in sports medicine, orthopedic injuries and aquatic therapy. She is also involved in personal training, aquatic arthritis classes and community wellness programs.
Melissa Stevens, PT, DPT, ATC, CSCS, has received her certificate as a Certified Cancer Exercise Specialist. She has presented several times in the past few months in the community to the Karen Klein Breast Cancer Survivors Group and as part of an ongoing cancer series through the Cancer Center in DeKalb about the benefits of exercise for the cancer patient.
In her spare time, Melissa enjoys running, boating and skiing.
