Unlimited Performance physical therapists attend seminar
Three physical therapists from Unlimited Performance Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine recently attended “When the Feet Hit the Ground . . . Everything Changes,” a seminar focusing on the functions of the foot when it hits the ground and how this affects the biomechanics of the entire body. Physical therapists Mike Reser, Sheree Pinto and Julie Panek attended the hands-on seminar and learned to identify foot abnormalities, perform a biomechanical examination and match symptoms of faulty biomechanics with the problems that cause them. Once a therapist can recognize these symptoms, they can effectively direct treatment to the causes. Additionally, therapists learned how select the proper orthotic device for their patient.
